Two other simple gauges that can
reveal an association with OSA are
neck size and weight to height ratio.
Women with a neck size greater than 14 ½” and
men with a size 17” neck circumference or greater have
an increased link to OSA.
High height/weight ratio, body mass
index (BMI),
is also linked to increased chance of OSA.
The greater the BMI over 25 the greater the risk
that you suffer from sleep obstructed breathing.
